F.O.R. Policy on sharing information

from the Members Database:

The National Office honors a commitment to assist Local Groups in the process of forming and organizing, and to involve many members through the activities of Local Groups. We are happy to supply lists of individual members with the following guidelines:

  1. F.O.R. will share the names of individual members only; we do not share information about non-member supporters.
  1. The list should be used once only for an initial mailing. Whoever responds can be added to your mailing list.
  1. The receiver must be an F.O.R. member.
  1. The list cannot be used for fundraising unless it is for an F.O.R. Local Group.
  1. The list should not be exchanged or given to anyone else.
  1. Names and information regarding contributors is confidential.
  1. A portion of the list may be out of date. If you receive any returned mailings or updated information, please forward that info to us so that we may continually update our database.

 

When requesting lists, it is helpful if you are able to identify the zip codes (or first three digits) of the areas for which you are making the request.
