GROUPS
These groups are distinguished as chapters
and affiliates; both types use the "application for affiliation" to gain recognition
from the national office. CHAPTERS:
These
are local groups who's primary identity is linked to FOR. Groups usually use the
FOR's name locally.
AFFILIATES
These groups developed independently of FOR, but have chosen to
join the FOR network. They usually retain their original name but
identify themselves as an FOR affililiate.
Associate Member Organizations
These groups have their own 501.c.3 status,
but want to be part of FOR’s grassroots network. Many, although
not all participants, are members of FOR. They do not officially
represent FOR.
