Tom Rawson

Tom Rawson hails from Seattle, WA, and is a much beloved folksinger and storyteller.  He has performed throughout the Northwest region including Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia.  In December 1992, he released Outside the Lines, featuring 12 easy-to-sing-along contemporary folksongs.  Tom is a favorite among families and children.

In May, 1993, Steve Durfee in Victory Review wrote, “Tom Rawson – Peter Seeger.  These two run together in my mind.  Friendly, charismatic banjo playing lovers of folk music.”  Nearly ten years later, Hank Cramer in the same review publication wrote, “Enter Tom Rawson.  Witty, energetic, and armed with a banjo … Tom and his audience are made for each other.

Hear Tom for some humorous stories, user-friendly songs, and acoustic folk philosophy that's guaranteed to leave you smiling. Armed with long-necked banjo and other weapons of mass delight, Tom will have you singing along in no time. Tune up your vocal chords; you'll need 'em!
