Donzaleigh Abernathy is an accomplished actress whose credits include Don King: Only in America, Chicago Hope, Miss Evers’ Boy and Murder in Mississippi. She is a founding member of New Road Schools, which promote cultural, racial and economic diversity. The daughter of Ralph and Juanita Abernathy, she grew up in the civil rights movement.

This year she toured the nation upon the release of her book, Partners To History: Martin Luther King, Jr, Ralph David Abernathy and the Civil Rights Movement.
